Chef Brian DePaulis: Redefining Fine Dining Winston-Salem

The Triad’s dining scene is shifting, and Chef Brian DePaulis is at the center of it. We’re delighted to be part of something so special here at Elevated Catering Company – and the recognition we’re receiving reflects the impact we’re making across Winston-Salem and beyond.

What Drives Chef Brian DePaulis and Elevated Catering Company

Just three days ago, our Chef Brian DePaulis sat down with hosts Tim and Brooke for Episode 267 of the Forsyth Mags Podcast to discuss what drives Elevated Catering Company and our supper club dining experiences. Moreover, they talked about the comeback story – Brian’s journey from finding the Lord in prison to working as a dishwasher, to becoming the executive chef he is today. The passion that drives him goes beyond creating great food – it’s about elevating something much bigger than himself, whether through supper clubs or fine dining experiences that bring people together.

Where Community Gathers: Forsyth Woman April Feature

Furthermore, Chef Brian DePaulis and Elevated Supper Club appear in this month’s April issue of Forsyth Woman Magazine under “Where Community Gathers.” In the feature, Chef Brian DePaulis shared his vision: “My dream is to build the ultimate connection between clients, their catering professionals and the event space, where every detail contributes to the overall dining experience.”

Writer Martie Emory chronicled our February 13th Valentine’s Supper Club at The Edison, capturing the intimate candlelit setting and carefully curated menu that defines our approach. She noted how these gatherings create community – where guests make new friends and return together for future dinners.

The Foundation: February Forsyth Magazine

Additionally, Chef Brian DePaulis and Elevated Catering Company were featured in Forsyth Magazine’s February edition, where the name of our company became clear. “To me, elevated means going above and beyond for our clients,” Chef Brian DePaulis explained. “Hospitality is the focal point and should be the heartbeat of why and what we do.”

When he returned to Winston-Salem, he realized how far behind the local food scene had fallen. Consequently, he decided to create the experiences that were missing – bringing restaurant-quality, farm-to-table dining to the Triad in ways that go beyond traditional catering.

Chef Brian DePaulis Redefines What Catering Looks Like

What sets Elevated Catering Company apart is our commitment to doing something different. Consequently, while most caterers in the area focus primarily on weddings, we’ve brought supper club culture – a West Coast and big-city dining tradition – to Winston-Salem. Our farm-to-table approach sources locally from North Carolina farmers for every event, creating elevated experiences beyond traditional catering.

Two Small Businesses, One Big Vision

Jennifer DePaulis, Chef Brian’s wife and established business owner of Lusso Hair Studio & Spa in the Triad, heads our sales team and brings her expertise to every client interaction. Together, they’re building something bigger than themselves – two small businesses making a real impact in our community.
